What length truss rod is used for a 25.5 scale length? I'm adjusting thru the sound hole. I bought a double action 14.5" rod from LMI.

David you're good, I use 14.5" for 25.4 scale thru the sound hole adjust.

I like the Allied rod designed by Mark Blanchard a little better than the LMI rod but size wise you're good-to-go.
