Hi,
I have routed my binding channel slightly taller than the binding.

I have read that abs binding swells when it is glued(weld-on), but I've never seen it happen. However, perhaps I have not been paying attention.
My question is, do you think the binding would swell enough to make this go away, or should I get taller binding and/or use a bit of purfling(I think I probably know the answer, but there's nothing to lose by asking).
Thanks.

I believe I would scrape the top down to the binding, it looks like just a few thousands in the photo.

Rodger, I would love to, but if you look closely, the top is a thin sheet of Mahogany veneer over poplar. Not possible.

Filippo, it's a Telecaster. And yep, it looks like taller binding or purfling is the way to go.
Thanks for the confirmation, guys. Much appreciated.
