So continuing with my series of bizarre and weird Guitars… Next on the bench is a acoustic with fiber optic side dots powered by a 9 V battery.
This is nothing new of course usually done an electric guitars, but I thought it’d be pretty cool some people express concern that it might be too bright and there is actually way to dim them. I’m really not an electronic guy and I had a guy in Canada make this up for me rather than do it myself so it’s just another fun project for me.
It’s going to be installed on a 17 inch J – 200 style Guitar made from Sitka and quilted maple.

Very cool!can you change the colors?

Yes, you can... There will be 3 switches with 3 different colors and you can vary colors by turning more than one switch on at a time.

Love it! Pity the fool who has to take the FB one day, lol…

side dots are cool , but inlays that flash with the chord changes would blow everyone away

I am gluing it on with yellow glue so in 2103 when it needs to be replaced the worst that can happen is you have to make a new one.....lol
