It’s a beauty, John! The top is great. How did you apply the post cat royal lac? Is that your first instrument with it? Happy New Year!

Looks and sounds great John. The wood choices are beautiful together. I'm curious about Royal Lac too. Been interested in it for a while now but have yet to try it.

Beautiful John. And the Angel seems to love it also.

I am also interested in the finish process you used. Pore filler? Spray? Impressions?

I used zpoxy pore fill sealed with seal-lac. I am spraying the post catalyzed Royal-Lac I love its look and it does buff out well. The down sides I have found for an inexperienced finisher is that once cured I could not successfully touch up issues without witness lines. I hand a sand through on the back late in the process. I touched it up with a air brush, a nice clean over spray touch up. After that cured once level and buffed I could always see the touch up. Ultimately I sanding down the whole back sealed with seal-lac and resprayed. That worked well.

Your playing sounds fine to me. And the guitar has good tone for picking.
