And, to you all, Happy Christmas!

Here are a couple of inspirational Christmas videos from the gang at my shop:

Hauntingly sentimental, with Enid on nyckelharpa and Tom on guitar:

Silent Night - YouTube

Goofy fun, featuring the bass banjo I msde this year:

"Banjo Bells" aka "Jingle Bells" | Tommy Mistletoe & The Lambert Ave. String Stretchers - YouTube

And a very Happy Christmas to you too Frank.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Wonderful sentiments, thanks for sharing. And also for sharing your knowledge--I was at a Christmas Eve celebration last night and one of the pro's asked me to attach a clear pickguard just like I had on my guitar (which was done easily after viewing one of your videos).

Wishing you the best in the coming years!
