Likewise to all. I'm going to try and do some cleaning up. I'm about ready to start a complete rebuild of the shop so have not been to concerned about where I put everything as long as I know where to find it.

Got a neck reset, a retop, the Gibson J45 I've been restoring forever and a new 000 13 fret cutaway I've also been working on forever idunno

Thanks Lance, and you enjoy your weekend. Nice looking back that one.
And Steve, thanks for reminding me of what I have to look forward to in the morning!

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Colin- happy to help[SMIRKING FACE]

Tom, I know what you mean. I'm sure after I rework the layout I'll probably have trouble finding things for months.

Dzsmith- Ha, I admit it, I've got the disease

Hey Lance, you've always had an eye for a pretty set of wood, you must have had that one for quite a while. They just don't sell maddy like that anymore.

Hey John!
Thanks!
I have indeed had this for I think 8 or 10 years. It's Cocobolo. The back and sides are cut from the same piece..
