I don't think you can technically be a geek until someone ELSE calls you one.

Actually WANTING to be labeled, or self labeling oneself as a geek kind of obviates one's potential geekness....no?

Based on the chisel thread we had I went out and bought one of the Ashley Iles round backs. It's nice. I can see where a person could get a bit geeky about it

Whoa I want to see what's going on to the right! That's some serious hand tool candy and OCD shop organization going on.

I've gotten rid of a ton of stuff, and still have a foot locker and a few shelves filled with planes...just not using some stuff at all (#7 and #8), side rabbets, framing chisels, slick, etc.

Me too Todd...two pick ups to the dump and one to Rev. Jims Junk Store. Gonna be a few more by the end of the summer (table, chop off, sliding miter saws, air comp.) ... is all junk now me no more swingin a hammer)... think is called "down sizing before they plant me" ...oh and jigs, way too many jigs, they gotta go ~ even been thinkin of selling the castle and getting me a one room shack, with fireplace (got the cast iron cook stove) and a BIG Quonset hut round back , with a little garden between all surrounded by trees. Oh and no computer, cell or phone line.

Tape dispenser is an In-Line 3-roll, and there's a two-roll on the other side of the shop. U-Line is a good source if ordering a couple, but the least expensive I've found is Quill.Com

Thanks.

Gil, I found a single roll dispenser for about $10 at Gander Mountain in Turkey Creek. I had freezer tape on it and was in the meat processing section.
