Got mine today when I went to the Post Office.

Just one question, Shane...how did you think the P.O. was going to "fit" the box of wood into my P.O. Box? laughing6-hehe

gaah The Post Office is holding mine captive. I missed the mailman yesterday, so I took the notice to the Post Office and asked to have it delivered today. Just leave it on the front porch, all will be well. Except there was no package when I got home and I just missed the Will Call by 2 minutes. [headinwall]

I'll call them tomorrow and see what gives.

They probably can't leave a package from a foreign country at your doorstep. They gotta have the signoffs for the Customs paperwork..... At least I have never.. ever.. been able to get a package from a foreign country without signing paperwork..

If you just go over there tomorrow with the little orange ticket in your hand... you will walk out with a Big Brown Box!

I got mine 1st of the week. Can't wait to start another guitar so I can try it out.

Thanks

laughing6-hehe Thanks Tom.
I called and talked with someone at the Post Office. Yes they have my package, no they won't just deliver it. I have to sign for it. So, fingers crossed, I can claim my package Saturday morning. I plan on being there as soon as they open.

You are very right Shane. Very good news. Thanks again.

Just an observation though. I thought this was all supposed to be AA grade. Shane dear, you need new glasses or to get glasses. There were several AAA's in the stash.

Maybe at a Canadian Post Office but "south of the border" the cops have all the donut shops in their crosshairs! laughing6-hehe

By the by...what was the moisture content of that wood? I ask because within a day of opening it a number of tops started to cup. I have a reading of 45% RH in my shop so I wouldn't expect such a quick movement. Got them all under control and will let them acclimate for at least a year before use.

Hey Hank,

It's actually the same up here, all of the law enforcement types (cops, fisheries and conservation) have the seats in the donut shops...

It was a bit dry when I stickered them, in the mid 30's for RH. They should acclimate quite quickly. I am drying some other sets and yesterday the ends of 3 of the 100 or so sets on the rack were "wavy", today they are flat...they move quite a bit with little change in RH.

Shane

Shane, Thanks! It all looks very good.

Got it last week - it's all stickered, and waiting patiently to become a guitar!
