What is the shelflife of strings when one is considering buying in bulk. Anybody try vacuum packing with inert gas or very dry air?
Also any recomendations on the various string cleaners out there and their affect on fingerboards?

Mike I know that D'addario EXP coated strings come in a special anti corrosion packaging, these would probably have a very long shelf life, as well as being a great string.

Strings will last a long time. Keep them in the freezer , it is actually the driest place in your house .

That's cool John [:Y:] [:Y:] [:Y:] [:Y:] I've been freezing strings for years. Just take them out and let them thaw before you install them.
