Hey L.P.,
I've got some Frankincense & Myrrh in case you can't find yours. ;)

Sweet Bill! [:Y:] I love the smell of Franincense in the morning! :D

Paul,
Are you sure it needs a neck reset?
You have said in one of your posts that the neck is bent, a neck reset will not fix that.
A neck reset adjusts the neck angle not the neck bow.
Get the neck straight with a truss rod adjustment first then evaluate the need for a neck reset.

Here you go. I'm betting this is probably what it looks like in there -

I didn't have enough clearance on the bandsaw, so I just cut through the body at the waist - it makes neck removal a piece of quiche on these.

And Larry - though I'm flattered you would consider me as one of the "Wise Men", if you think about it I'm sure you'll have to agree that I'm much more like one of the donkeys they rode in on.

You're too hard on yourself Dave! I think you're very wise...now myself, I've been told I'm at best, a wise donkey! :D

David, a chainsaw will work without cutting through the waist, and IMHO you're one of the wise men. When you talk I listen.

The punch line was supposed to be "Now that you mention it, you are a wise ass!"

Everyone must be breathing too much fresh air this weekend or something...

I'm going to measure everything again and post some pics.

Now that's funny.

If the truss rod won't take out the bow, you might be able to remove the frets, level the fretboard, refret and do a set up. While this should be done by an experienced person, it is still easier than a reset, I think.
