Is there anywhere on the net that one could go and print "to scale" neck shape cross sections?

Or a good site that at least shows some good photos.....

Thanks,
Jeff

Tracy at Luthier Suppliers sells neck templates for a lot of different guitars. Check them out.

The Martin web site has photos of neck cross sections http://www.mguitar.com/guitars/features/neck.html
these could be saved to the computer and scaled to width needed and used to make a template. I would not be surprised if other manufacturers do similar profile photos on the web sites. A little exploration should reveal others.

If you have a guitar with a neck you really love, make your own templates from it. Make one for nut, 5th, 12th level on the neck.

I make templates as Todd describes for each of mine.

Got the idea from a tutorial Mark Blanchard did. I wick in CA to stengthen the attachment before sanding off the excess. I also found 2" packing tape less fussy than using saran wrap on the neck.
