I know this subject has been covered before.
I am looking for methods, materials and sources for making my logo in a gold decal for my headstock-like Martin and other companies use.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Brad

Hey Brad,

I'm no help, but Martin's logo appears to be a thin metal veneer.

It really doesn't look like a decal as much as a stamped out sheet material.

Finding that source would be daunting.

I would think that specialty advertising companies could get you something that would look like that of similar manufacture.

Hi Brad,

You might start here: http://www.decalgear.com. Decal paper, software, etc. A place to start, anyway.

Hi Brad,

take a look at these, dry transfer/rub on

http://www.allout-graphics.com/

I have not used either of these but they look interesting.

I used www.best-decals.com last year and ordered arched satin gold headstock decals with my surname on them (0.6"x2.31") and they worked GREAT!

I also ordered YAMAHA headstock labels for a restoration that were dead to rights match for their label.
