After my buddy Rich reminded me with his mention of a Snap-on calender.... :D I spent part of the day digging out my pictures that I wanted to hang in the new shop.

These guys are my musical heroes (the top two of many heroes that I have) and I just feel more relaxed and inspired being surrounded by my heroes.

I'll show you mine if you show us yours!!!! :D

I have "shop art" all over my cluttered shop. I'll post some more when I get my camera back from "she-who-must-be-obeyed" tomorrow.
But I do have this photo on my tool box, it's a photo of my top of the pile hero Ian Anderson, the Jethro Tull man! I took this photo at a concert a couple of years ago, I was very close and of course it was great. Martin Barre', the guitarist (also a hero!) was on the other side of the stage and I couldn't get as nice of a pic of him...but he does rock for sure!

This is a bad photo of Martin Barre' but it does have a cool ambiance to it.
I think he was playin' Aqualung here. :ugeek:

Very cool pics Mark my friend!!!! Man you were close to Ian and the colors are superb too.

I am a big Tull fan and just put them on my Pandora last night.

Let's see some more shop art. It does not have to be pictures, it can be anything that you made or anything that has significance to you.

Thangka painting of Prajnaparamita, mother goddess of wisdom.
the chant from the heart sutra is

"gate gate paaragate paarasamgate bodhi svaaha".

translated roughly to,

“Gone, gone, gone to the other shore;
Gone crossed over completely to the other shore, hallelujah .”

So, like wad ya spect form the Padma... a pic of Micky Mouse playing a uke?

blessings

Padma
