Hi Fillipo,
This is my fifth mando (second F style),about my 60th instrument .
I was generally suicidal when I was doing the binding.
Really glad it's over-great to be getting back to guitars!!

Oh, man. My hat is off to anyone who does a decent rendition of an F mandolin. Yours goes way beyond decent. There's a good reason you don't see many in blond, and why the sunburst ones go to black around each of the joints. My first F mandolin got put aside a couple of years ago (got the headstock bound, but got hung up on fitting the neck joint).

Congratulations, great job.

Wow! Did you ever make that come together nicely. Great headstock. Sigh..... maybe one day. I think I'll try an "A" style first. :)

Wow.....that is wonderful all around. A superb job.

I started mine about 5 years ago - got the plates glued up, bent the rims, then froze in a state of panic - the rims are still in the mold under a layer of dust....

Nice work, Brad. Others have already said it, but let me add another "Wow!"
Really impressive.

Yow, even bound the f-holes...you are a glutton for punishment.
Seriously though, that looks like it came out great!
It's inspiration for my own first F-5,which is currently in the "stack o' lumber" stage.
Congrats!

Thanks for all the nice words.
The funny thing is that I also had a "block",when I got to the binding stage of this thing-it literally sat on the shelf for seven years before I got back to finishing it!
