I've used them for years on vintage stuff, they never question a statement of value I've provided, but expect the dollar estimates to be within reason.
Fred Oster from Vintage Instruments is their main contact for questions of value. So you are dealing with some very good folks. I hope I never need to make a claim but feel confident they will honor it if I do.
