The gentleman whom this is for kindly participated in my education and has covered the cost of everything on this guitar - I give him the free labor - he kindly made it so I could develop into a stronger luthier without becoming poor :)

Anyway,
coco headstock veneer
ebony FB w/ coco bindings
1 piece figured maple top
2 piece African mahogany back
honduran mahogany neck
'59 Seymour Duncans, 2 tone, 2 volume, 3 way, independent coil control on both pickups

She sings pretty well. Cosmetically, it is my best effort yet, but I still have a long road to travel...

Hope you enjoy,
Stephen

Looks great Stephen! The one piece maple top really caught my eyes. The small burst is also very attractive. Love it! [:Y:]

I will attest that is guitar sounds great! I had about 10 minutes with it last night plugged in to my marshall :D

Love the sound!

The photos don't do the burst justice. As it often happens photos seem to make a burst look like there is no blend when really there is. This one has a very warm honey color with a nice blend from the edges.

Good stuff Steve!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the encouragement.

Mike - the neck joint is an ergonomic feature that matches up to the palm of the player. It allows uninhibited access to higher frets for soloing purposes. In this case it is a blended transition of flamed maple and cocobolo...

Stephen
