This past weekend the weather turned to the nasty side ,because of Ike and prevented me from doing a second set of Nitro coats. Is it okay to wait a week in between succesive coats.I should be able to shoot another 6 coats next weekend in 2 days time.I `m worried if I`ll get the proper burn-in waiting a week.

Yes you can wait.

Give it a quick scuff sand before, just some 400 wiped over the body will help. The other thing you can do is thin down the nitro a bit more to allow more solvent onto the first couple coats, should help burn-in to the previous coats. It will take slightly more time for the solvent to flash off though but even after 1 hr you should be good to spray another coat.

The other thing you'll want to really watch of course is the humidity, my guess is that right now it's through the roof and you may get blushing if it's to high.
