Waddy put me down for some tender boiled okra.

Cut when about two inches long, steamed until the color change, then add a little butter and shake of salt and you have some fine eating.

MMMMMMM MMMMM! Bruce. My wife also introduced me to lightly sauteed (sp) okra with a little butter and just a little salt & pepper. Also a delight. I lived in Lancaster SC a number of years, and they had a little cafeteria that always had boiled okra. I always got some. It was boiled to death, and they had a hard time spooning it on the plate it was so slimy. Wow was it good!
