Matt,
Don't sweat it... We will wait. The end of this challenge has become a bit less formal. I'd rather have good clips and pics from the three that finished so we can make an educated decision.

Yeah, I don't mind waiting. I want to hear that guitar too.

Sorry, I haven't been able to check in here in a couple of weeks. I probably won't be able to get up to my buddy's studio until sometime in January due to my work schedule and the holidays.

Finally made it up to my friend's studio yesterday. He was recording another friend of mine so I tagged along and heard her record a demo of her fantastic new song. When she was done, I banged out a couple of very short tracks. The first one is my very poor finger picking and the second is a bit of strumming without a pick. I apologize for the poor playing. No effects of any kind were added to the recordings. Just the guitar exactly the way it sounds. Not sure what mics he used, though.

Matt,
I'm glad I waited to open the poll... That sounds like quite a nice instrument, and I think the voters needed to hear that. I will try to get the poll open this week.

From one NEL guy to another, nice job!
You should be proud of that instrument. The back looks stunning with a finish on it!

Thanks Don and Jay. It was a fun guitar to build. And it's pretty fun to play it, even if I am a complete hack guitarist.
