I think they even list "indiscretions" as something it resolves...

Hey Daniel. That Martin is looking great now. Good revival job!

Have you tried the trick of using dry rice to clean out inside the guitar? I think this might have come from Frank Ford. The idea is to pour a decent quantity of uncooked rice grains in through the sound hole, cover the hole, and then just shake it around a lot. It acts as a mild abrasive, and also absorbs odours. You can add some baking soda to the recipe too if you wish. Get yourself some good exercise shaking it vigouously, all around. Then tip out as much as you can through the soundhole and chase the rest of it up with the vacuum cleaner. I must admit that I have not had the need to try this myself, but I recall reading a few forum posts where people said this gave them a good result for instruments that had been in a house fire, or had an animal die inside, or similar smelly insults. At the very least it would be cheap and harmless.

It's been a few months now, and this old guitar smells just like a Martin should—all the smoke smell is completely gone. The cracks are all taken care of, and she's settled in really nicely.
Took off the pepperoni and added Delmar—looks pretty good from here.

I'm playing this one more than any other guitar in house.

Also trying to up my photography a little as well...

That's a great photo. I love the texture. It looks like its right of the pages of an old national geographic.
