Huh?

I really have no idea what you are talking about so I will take a guess..:

Somebody did not pre-drill the hole for the strap button screw (or didn't drill it large enough) and it split the neck heel? Not a factory warranty issue unless the factory installed the strap button screw.... But its surely an extremely expensive mistake caused by whoever did the screwing...
