Hi,
Anyone familiar with Raimundo guitars? I have a couple which I am repairing, and I've found that sanding the tops removes the grain lines with very little effort - almost as though the grain was drawn on. Does anybody know if this is the case, or how these guitars are built? I've contacted the factory and although they try to be quite helpful, the language barrier makes things a little tricky. I know that these aren't top end guitars, but one is quite an early model and I'd like to get it looking half decent. Thanks in advance,
Tony P.

I have a cedar 148. Looks like pretty standard solid top WRC to me. Look at the soundhole end grain ...is it ply?
