I read on a post that CA can stain Redwood. Is this true if I seal with shellac first?I want to glue in a Rosette with zip flex around it.Or will zip flex stay glued if I use titebond.I`m testing that now.It acts like it wants to stick? How about using e-poxy ,will this stain redwood?

Yes CA will stain redwood. Seal with shellac, ask Lance to move this thread, then glue in the zip flex with CA per Kevin Ryan's instructions.

OOps got it in the wrong spot.Sorry.I did like I always have.Sealed with shellac and then used Ca.It worked great.I guess I just got a little spooked. No need to keep this thread alive, as I noticed this topic has been covered.Sorry again.Back to the shop.
