Actually, I have not had a chance to work on it much. I did attempt to fit the tuners and the posts are not long enough to work with the thickness of the peg head so I had to use other tuners. Pics soon.

It would seem Filippo is clairvoyant.

I'm done by the way. I just have not had time to take pics or play it for more than a few minutes. I thought playing it would be simple because it is just the top 4 strings of a guitar, but my fingers keep looking for the other two strings and I keep messing up! It is going to take some practice to get the hang of this.

Top four strings of a guitar? I think your tuning might be off ;)

Ya think?
Take the low E and the A string off of your guitar, put a capo on the 5th fret, and you have concert ukulele, low 4th, tuning. I happen to be using reentrant tuning, but the chord shapes are the same.
Don't sass me boy!

I know what you mean Tony. I have an Uke here to if for a guy at work. I assumed I could play it a bit, but it was harder than I expected. Other than the open d and f shapes, I don't really know any chords built off the top four strings. And even those feel awkward on the tiny little board. Of course, I'm also a lousy guitar player too.

You get a huge "Atta boy" just for completing it, given all you've been through since the storm, Tony!!! I've thought of you and your family and friends often, and figure that if you're continuing to build and post, you're probably starting to see life normalize again. At least I hope so! Looking forward to seeing and hearing your uke.

Oh, I thought you had forgot about the reentrant tuning :D. Looking forward to seeing some finished pics!

BTW, check out this arrangement of "while my guitar gently weeps". It's far from the Jake Shimabakuru version, but easy and fun to play.

Just please Tony, do not sing in your video. The last one I seen was really ______. I might sing in mine. Well maybe not. I guess I really don't care if you do or not since nobody cares anyway.

Things are normal for me, but I am still out helping others. I'll try to take pics this weekend. It looks pretty if nothing else!
