Great looking build. A lot of people underestimate sapele because it's fairly inexpensive, but it can make a really good guitar.

Thanks for taking my comment constructively, Mike. That doesn't happen much anymore.

Thank you.
I am not stupid. I know there are really good builders on here who will find things like that. Its the reason i'm here. You can't learn if you can;t take people's advice, and I really do appreciate it.
I have not got around to measuring yet; haven't had the time to get back to the build. But I will most likely order a slotted board from LMII and redo, if I can afford it. Right now my vehicle is down and it will take the money at this point. :P

Thanks for sharing, enjoying it quite a bit. Curious about the gramil rather than a router. What did you use for the rosette and soundhole?

Thanks.
Work has pretty much stopped on this. I was hoping to get it done this year, but home repairs before winter will stop it. I might be able to do a bit more work, particularly the neck, but finish will have to wait for next Spring.
As for why grammil instead of router, I prefer to use hand tools as much as possible. I do hand tool woodworking as a hobby, so it just came natural to do as much by hand as possible on acoustic building. For the sound hole and rosette, I built a very ugly circle cutter/grammil, and cut the rosette channel by hand with a chisel.
Thanks for replying and looking at my thread.
