Has anyone ever dyed rosewood with ebony dye or darkened it to a degree that it still has those rosewood qualities but wood match a macassar ebony headstock? I want to replace the plain-jane headstock veneer w/ebony and snake wood bindings on my OOOC1-E. Alternately, I could replace the veneer w/snakewood veneer and ebony bindings.
