We have strings! Test drive for a few days and then I’ll share some glamour shots and a sound sample. I’m going to reserve first impressions until I get Uke Logic strings on it. Going to try the hard tension wound low D on this one.

Brad, the stripes of that Ziricote are very nice, especially on the sides. I'm always amazed at the sounds coming out of Ukes. I think of strumming Hawaiian music!

Thanks, Ken. I had the luxury of having this one and the koa one I completed recently side by side. They definitely have their own voice. This one is brighter at the high end which I would expect from spruce, but it also was more distinct and rang clear in the mid too. I didn’t expect that.
