Here is a Soprano Uke I recently finished:
Honduran back, sides and neck, rosewood fretboard, ivoroid appointments Grover tuners (not crazy about them) flat nitro finish .
She sounds great-I am lovin' it! ;

What is your doubts about the Grover tuners?
I use cheap, cheap, cheaps .

Bob, I just don't lik the feel of them and the 1 to 1 ratio-hard to tune-for me anyway..

Are yo famimlliar wit the pegheds tuners? They are the cats meow!!

I use the cheapest guitar tuners and they work well for me. I have to use a thicker head veneer to limit the exposed post height and to bury the second hole in the post.

Since my ukuleles are given away, low cost leaves me free to build what I want.
