I have done some web work but can't find anything on this company except they make grand harps! Mandolins were mentioned in one wikapedia sentence but that was all. they were said to have made EMPIRE STATE mandolins, the tuner heads have a quater sized plastic button that says EMPIRE STATE, WARRANTED and the word ROYAL in the middle. any info would be appreciated. esp. when they made mandos, and when they stopped, or if they still do, i want to know how old mine is and if in fact they manufctrd it? thanks jimdandy

Check out mugwumps. It will give you all the time frames of many of the older instrument builders. Click on the link called Encyclopedia of American Fretted Instrument Makers, pre-Civil War to WW2. Lots of other good info on there too....Mike
