It's Alder. It's waterbased lacquer, and I actually brushed it all on red toner included.

Very clean looking build and finish. I did a water based brush finished tele recently and I've got to hand it to you how well that came out. Great color, and I like how you added some personal touches.

Gorgeous! I love that finish color. The pickguard shape and the carving on the headstock are very cool too. Nice.
