I am working on a late 60's kent 531 MIJ guitar. I am trying to replace the fixed bridge with a ABR-1 bridge. The problem is the string spacing on the saddle and the pickups is 42mm and the ABR-1 bridge I have has the string spacing at 52mm. Does anyone know of a bridge that has a spacing closer to 42mm or a way to modify the ABR-1 or any other bridge for that matter closer to the spacing I need. I would even consider changing the saddle also if I can get one that is closer to the spacing I need but I can not seem to find one. The currant one is a tremlo saddle but I would take anything that will fit.

It's a solid body guitar plus that bridge is too big for the space.

A picture of the present bridge/saddle would help. All the ToM's that I'm familiar with are in the 51-52 mm string spacing. Don't forget too that most ToM's are 12 inch radius - make sure that is compatible with your fretboard.
