This guitar has been "done" for a while now, finally got some pics. It is my second solid body build. I was in a big time crunch to get it ready for a display so I just got enough done on it to look like its finished. Still needs more coats of tung oil finish, wiring, proper set up, etc.
I realized afterwards I maybe should of put more thought into how I placed the pickup, I just had the angled theme in mind and did not consider how the pole pieces would line up. I will have to wait till after the exhibit is over (at my local library) to see how it sounds, but I have a few unique solutions in mind if it does not work.

Thanks to Howard Klepper for giving me one tip that was very crucial for the dovetails; the height or depth of the router bit is crucial to the fitting of the dovetails. Having never cut dovetails before this I was unaware of this factor, but its importance quickly became obvious. I have probably over 250 hours in the instrument, a very large portion of which was spent on the dovetails. If anyone is interested I can post the method and jig I made.

Specs:
Shape- Modified Tele shape, to correspond with fanned frets
Top woods- Indian rosewood and figured maple (very unique "speckle" figure)
Back woods- African mahogany and plain maple
Neck woods- African mahogany, rosewood and maple
Fretboard- Indian rosewood (12" radius)
Scale- 26.25" top and 24.75" bottom (25.5" at the center), "perp" at the 7th
Pickups- SD Jazz model
Bridge- Homemade base out of 14 gauge cold rolled steel
Saddles- Graph tech tele
Nut- Tusq, 1 11/16" spacing
Tuners- Gotoh 510 chrome
Truss rod- Stew mac hotrod
Electronics- One volume and one tone, 500k pots
Knobs- Indian rosewood turned from offcuts

Cant wait to get it back and wire it up.
