Ive finally decided to post pictures of number one. I completed this a while back during a building and repair course in lilburn georgia. Question and Comments welcomed. While im happy with the finished product there are a few things i'd like to spend more time on while im building the next guitar. My lack of photographic skills hopefully dont take away from the beauty of the woods i chose.
Neck- zebrawood and wenge laminate
body - birdseye maple top, mahogany sandwiched in the middle (cant really see it from the pictures) and a white mahogany back.

well its not quite a true archtop. it was constructed using the clam shell method. But arching the top was pretty time consuming. The next build will be based on a benedetto, so i'll let you know how that works out! i anticipate it will be much harder. this is almost like an electric chambered out and with f-holes.
