Here is the tele kit I just finished. Mahogany body with a flamed maple veneer top. Maple neck and fingerboard with a skunk stripe. I did a rattle can sunburst with nitro that I bought from reranch.com. I tossed the hardware and replaced it all with better quality stuff (tuners, bridge). I made the pickguard from an old Johnny Cash Live at Folsom Prison vinyl LP. I'm going to put some Bill Lawrence noiseless pickups in it. Well I say it ain't finished until it has some pickups! Looks great. Love the JC record pickguard... |
