Post subject:  Fender Genuine Replacement Bodies

Left over from a project at my last job, I have 8 Fender genuine replacement bodies that shipped from Corona in October of last year. After completion of the project I was allowed to keep these along with ten Alder body blanks. Ultimately, I have more Strat bodies than I have plans for and wouldn't mind parting with two or three... Part of the challenge from my end is figuring out a fair price, since these are literally no longer available through normal means. As you can see in the picture, these came in the official boxes fresh from the factory. The testing was all thermal in nature and all but one passed without need for destructive methods. For reasons of confidentiality, there are some details I will not be able to disclose. What I can say is that these are unique as MIM guitars go, and were built to quality levels much closer to the US products, but still technically from the MIM pattern.

I have a couple of black and 3 tone sunburst bodies that I am willing to part with and would make great projects. All have alder bodies, and as I recall most are 3 piece construction. The only holes drilled in these are for the trem screws, which means your pickguard *will* fit and you will have the option of rolling your own PG pattern if you so desire. Does anyone have the slightest idea of what these should go for?

I'm willing to accept reasonable offers via PM in the meantime. You will have the opportunity to see close up pictures and measured weights to guide your selection.
