Todd, I think I used a #29 drill bit, same bit for a #8-32 tap. I hadn't thought of converting it into a reamer though. I guess that's one to add to the list when the tip wears out from metal drilling. I use med. CA figuring it might fill the gap on the flat of the shaft a little better and that was what Laurent Brondel used and he turned me onto the process. The vise jig was my idea though.

OK, now I see how it's a definate advantage for a blind hole. Thanks for the explaination.
