It is with a heavy heart that I’m letting everyone know that my uncle Pat Foster has passed. He will be missed in the luthier community. Rip Uncle.

Uh no. I didn't know him beyond his contributions here. I will certainly miss seeing him here. All the best to the whole family.

That's a real bummer David. I've known Pat across a couple of forums. Always loved his guitars. He did great work and never failed to answer questions about techniques and his processes in perfect detail. I never scrolled by one of his posts without reading it. He was an inspiration to build better and more beautiful guitars inside and out.

Anyway, Pat will be missed. Please pass along our condolences to friends and family.

RIP Pat Foster - Godspeed my friend.

Brian
