Years ago when people were saying robots would take our jobs, I said it was actually the opposite, that cheap CNC machinery was changing the paradigm from centralized to distributed manufacturing, where every average joe could build a little home factory and make a living. Clearly the mega corporations who own the government saw the same future, and this is their attempt to retain dominance by brute force. Fight it tooth and nail.

Worked in manufacturing all my adult life. A couple of the people I worked with built cnc machines out of conventional machines, it really ain’t that hard to do.
Outlaw cnc machines only outlaws will have cnc.

Everything I have read has these laws applied to guns and gun parts. Some do create an onerous burden on manufacturing but nothing is going to stop those who want to use these tools in their factory or home shop for non weapons use. At least nothing that I have read.
