Recently, my printer, Dell 920, has started to print in two sizes of fonts: regular size font and a font so small I need Mr. Peeper's peepers-what gives?
Thanks,

PS, I know it's not a printer problem

Bob, have you tried uninstalling, shutting down and then reinstalling the printer drivers?

Bob--

Can you let us know what the operating system is, XP home, Win2000, etc? Also, are you printing from a Microsoft product such as Word or from third part software such as out of a CAD program?

Bob--

I think that Lillian nailed it. This is how our hardware dude at work would do it:

1) Unplug the printer cable from the back of the computer.

2) Go to Start -> Settings -> Printers and right click on the printer and choose Delete.

3) Resart the machine to clear it's memory.

4) Plug the cable back in and restart again to get Windows to detect new hardware. Follow the dialog boxes to reinstall the printer driver.

You may need a CD from Dell with the drivers or you can go to their website and download a new one.
