OK folks, just a bit of curiosity, how do -YOU- access the OLF? zac_in_ak's post about accessing the OLF on a palm pilot got me wondering. Check -all- of the ways you access the OLF. Thanks! |

Sometimes from work, two or three times a day from home. I have dial up at home, though, so sometimes it takes a while. I don't own a cell phone, blackberry, ipod or any other gadget, just my old desktop computer. Fortunately, I've outgrown Toy Acquisition Syndrome. Ron |

Can only select one up there, but Home, Work, sometimes Palm (Well, I did when I had it...it's currently dead, and as-yet unreplaced). |

Mostly my work computer but that is in my home. Sometimes I use the family computer. I don't have a blackberry or palm and I can't imagine doing any web surfing looking through such a small keyhole and not having a full keyboard. It takes me 10 minutes to text message a simple thankyou or "How ya doing" on my cell phone. |

Mattia, cast two different votes. Unlike other polls, this one doesn't grey out after you cast your vote. As for me...both home and work...mostly work though (just don't tell my boss). |

My home and work computer are the same, can I still vote each one separatly. Than there's at the inlaw's house when I want to find something else to do

I'm lucky enough not to have a work computer any more (I don't count guitar building as work, and so far there's no money connected with it either), so it's my home computer. |

I normally go from Home and my palm (i have a TX)you would be surprised at how easy it is to surf on a palm lots of text takes time but my post last night only took me a couple of minutes. I do some times from work also (like now  )

Home, which IS work, via high speed cable through a wireless router. Quick connect, but slow working within the OLF server. You guys gonna turbocharge the server someday soon?

It isn't the hardware that is the problem. The issue is the software. We are working with a group now to potentially get something new going. The trick is converting data over to the new system. They are suppossed to be getting back to us with a "compatiblity assessment". If that works out then we will most likely go with their solution. |

As much as I would love to check out OLF during lunch at work, I want to keep my job. I am presently looking into being able to go wireless while riding the bus. They are saying that the buses will have WIFI by 2009. GAWD! I hope I am not still riding the bus then. |
