Having done a (very) quick shufty at the book today it looks awfully like a precis of the G&G book. This may not be a bad thing if people don't want to fork out for the big books, and want to avoid a lot of maths. I do worry though that reducing the scope so much that some serious information may be lost. It does give good descriptions of measurement techniques which has to be a good thing. Hope that doesn't sound a bit rude. It's meant as sensible criticism. Cheers Dave Agreed and that is why I was thinking it could work in a group setting. You joining us, Dave? Nice thought Brad but being in the UK makes it a bit difficult. I hope it goes well. I shall certainly be following peoples efforts. I think anything that encourages the application of the body of technical knowledge that has built up has to be a good thing. Cheers Dave |
