My package from UPS in the end came through in the normal way. With their significant fees.

The phone call I got from UPS saying I had to do x-y-z in order to receive my package of 4 1oz bottles of fancy CA glue seems now to have been a vaguely extortionishstic effort to sign me up as a UPS account holder and pay even more money.

That said, it does seem things are shifting at the border.

I feel under qualified to comment properly but the information is searchable at CBSA…
