Post subject:  Has anyone seen one of these before?
This guitar was just brought in to the shop. The owner says it was a friend's father's and was made somewhere in England. Just curious if anyone else has ever seen anything similar? The writing on the headstock reads "WOOD" , no truss rod and at first look appears to be solid woods. Thanks

That back is pretty wild. "Wood" is an unfortunate brand name for internet searches for an acoustic guitar.

It is....almost like a resonator cone.....zero fret on this and a 24.7 scale.

Thank you very much Colin, that is the guy. It mentions his pyramidal guitars in one of the posts.

Thanks, Joe...I found that one once I had a name. Bad info in that one though. I contacted the Totnes School Wood supposedly helped found and it was Norman Reed that started the school, not Wood :) Wood's guitars are pictured though.
