In some pics I see quite a few people using these bags. Anyone who uses them, could you provide some feedback on their functionality, usefullness and models being used?

Thanks

B

I have the #14a bunny ear rest and love it for acoustic guitar work. The leather is soft but durable and the bag is heavy enough to stay put without any hard surfaces.

I go to the hunting store and buy big bags of birdshot, and make bags whatever size I need.

I use one of the rabbit ear ones. I think it's for the rear, butt stock. I filled mine with cat litter.

I have the #14 bunny ear rest and have been happy with it (I bought it 10 years ago, so it's possible that model numbers, etc. have changed). It's easy to grab and use when I want it, then put away when I'm done. It's heavy enough to stay put and soft enough not to mar the neck of the guitar.

Would you use these for setting frets?

They are firm enough for tapping frets in, but not for pressing frets with an arbor.
