One of my double strung tenors was played on the local TV program - www.cecil.tv It starts at about 15 minutes into the program aired May 8 (after the smoked meat segment). |

A little local recognition is always nice. |

Nice one Clay, always good to get publicity locally, especially with such a fine looking, and great sounding, instrument. |

Gotta love that. On a side note, I just built myself a tenor, finished last month, and I absolutely love it. I can't believe I've gone this long without having a tenor guitar. I guess now I need a double course one ![]() |

Thank you for all the kind comments. I built that instrument several years ago and have built a few more since. They have all turned out pretty decent. The body shape is that of an LG 3/4 size but made deeper. Scale length is around 22 inches. Dave sent me the link and it was kind of him to mention me on the broadcast (podcast?). Another guitar I've been happy with is an eight string size 1 where the D and G are double strung courses (an octave apart). |
