That's actually kind of interesting. I've been using a flap sander on a die grinder and have thought about the Lancelot. Depending on the control I could see that it might be useful for fine tuning tight areas, maybe even the recurve. |

I'm about to start my second archtop and I'm looking at power carving options. If anyone has used one of these I'd be interested to hear. It looks a lot more controllable than some of the more brutal chain saw like tools I've seen. |

I used one of these on an archtop body. It worked well, perhaps not as refined as the "Holey Gallahad", but only $10 and is only for hogging off material. http://www.harborfreight.com/4-1-2-half ... 66613.html |
