Just wanted to recommend a couple different back/side sets for your consideration. I recently picked up a set of Tiger Myrtle and a set of Black Acacia from Steve. Both of these sets are some of the nicest wood I have encountered -- the Black Acacia, in particular, has absolutely astounding figure. I really wasn't prepared for just how nice this set was.

I purchased the WTM2 Tiger Myrtle set and the WBA10 Black Acacia set. There is still a sister set to the Black Acacia - set WBA9. Wood of this quality doesn't come around all that often. Steve also has some silver Acacia that looks incredible but as a pro-builder, I have to stick with traditional or highly valued exotics. If building for yourself, the Silver Acacia looks pretty awesome.

Nothing else to say other than that we are privileged to have some excellent tonewood dealers here at the OLF.

Best Regards

Steve is without a doubt a very stand up guy!

That is a nice set of blackwood for sure...methinks you should have bought both and made sister guitars :D

My first dealing with Steve this weekend. Very impressed. Actually took the time to answer my questions on a Sunday and received noticed that they were shipped same day. Had wood in hand Wednesday. Whoohoo!

Steve's one of my favorite suppliers. He sold me two incredible sets of Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle out of his personal stash, one of which I'm almost done with. I've built with it before and it's a great tonewood when paired with a lively, stiff top. Also, his flamed Ovangkol is so beautiful, I wish it was in the budget. Colonial is top notch.
