Someone mentioned a source for kerfed linings in a post a while back and I can't seem to find it. I think it was an actual manufacturer rather than LMI, StewMac, etc. I would appreciate a reference from someone who knows. I am looking for traditional triangular cedar or mahogany full-length pieces in quantity. Mike Franks www.mjfranksguitars.com www.facebook.com/mjfranksguitars |

http://www.lmii.com/products/mostly-woo ... ox/kerfing If you find a better/cheaper source for these than LMI let me know. I order these because they come in 32" lengths, which I also prefer and they give a price break for bulk. |

Forum sponsor Bow River Specialty Woods supplies cut and uncut kerfing and is an excellent supplier, ships free to Canada if you buy over $200 (which admittedly is a lot of kerfing). |

They also carry lots of guitar wood, and even if your order is under $200, their shipping rates are excellent. Alex |

Mike, http://exotic-woods.com/ in Burlington, Ontario sells spanish cedar triangular and reverse kerf liners. I not totally sure about their pricing but it's around 4-5$ (Canadian) per piece and less if buying a larger amount. So with the $1.30 us / $1.00 Can you'll be nearly making money... |

They used to have all their prices on the web site, but now you either have to email or phone for them. I think it was too time consuming for a small staff to keep everything up to date. Alex |
