Got to take a tour of Michi's shop last week as part of the Norcal Luthier's group meeting. What a treat I was expecting to find all sorts of ideas. However it appears that Michi relies heavily on chops...... woodworking chops and skill and design. The shop was surprising low tech. I'm not surprised based on the designs he has put forth over there years. They require an advanced knowledge of woodworking. luthier. |

I checked out Michi's guitars. Wish I hadn't of. They are complexly subtle, elegant, and beautiful. Makes me want to unleash my inner artist (if I can find it) and stop being so predictable. |
