I am FINALLY done with this build.
Started in late December
It is a gift for a friend who is a retiring music professor from MN.
So I used MN woods and ornaments from the school and profession.

Top is White Spruce, Back/Sides are White Oak
Walnut inlay
Maple Bindings
Finish is french polish, dyed to an Arts and Crafts tint as worked out with suggestions from the forum.

Just wanted to show how it turned out and that I'm still working on making guitars. Dang kids keep me really busy outside the shop.

Beautiful!!! I enjoy making guitars for friends and family much more than for a customer.

Handsome! I really like that you've tried something different with the rosette. The body looks a little deeper than normal? I've often wondered how that might sound with an L-OO.

Nice looking guitar Dave.
Like all of it but the stain on the Oak really stands out.
Nice job on the sound port too

Really cool... I would not have thought that rosette would have worked on a guitar but the proof is in the pudding. Well done.

Great!
This should be in my "local & domestic wood" thread.
